Shreveport authorities hunt gunman who robbed pizzeria manager

Shreveport police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Papa John's Pizza manager as he was making a night deposit.

At approximately 1:02 a.m. on February 1, 2012, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to the Chase Bank in the 5900 block of West 70th Street relative to a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival, patrolmen contacted the manager of Papa John’s Pizza who advised them a male suspect armed with a handgun accosted him as he was making the night deposit. The suspect, described as a black male about five feet seven inches tall weighing approximately 120 pounds last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a multi-colored ballcap, put the gun to the victim’s head and demanded the money bag. The suspect then fled on foot with the stolen loot. The victim was not injured.
