From Shreveport Police:

Detectives are looking for a local man wanted in connection with a robbery in west Shreveport.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. on May 8, 2011, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 5800 block of Canal Boulevard relative to a reported robbery.

Upon arrival responding patrolmen contacted victim Jervante Myles who advised them he had been walking in 2700 block of Waggoner Avenue when two male suspects accosted him and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects stole approximately $60 and then fled the scene of the crime. Myles was not injured during the robbery.

Investigators were notified and, upon further investigation, were able to develop a suspect. Today detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of 20 year old Deangelo Davidson charging him with one count of armed robbery.

His bond is set at $250,000.

Investigators believe Davidson, of the 3100 block of Ashton Street in Shreveport, should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with any information regarding Deangelo Davidson or his whereabouts is urged to contact Shreveport Police Detective John Jackson at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
