Restaurant employee spends $3K on patron's card
An employee at a local drive-in restaurant was arrested for using a customer’s credit card, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Cedric Grant, 21, of the 6600 block of West Canal in Shreveport, told detectives that while working at the restaurant he wrote down the victim’s credit card number and used it on-line to make about $3,000 worth of purchases. Grant stated he bought pizza, electronics, and paid his cell phone bill.
Grant was arrested by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Frank Edmondson and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for unauthorized use of an access card.
