Project manager arrested for stealing over 200K

Friday, August 20, 2010 - 11:14am

A project manager for McInnis Brother's Construction was arrested by Caddo Sheriff's deputies for stealing over $200,000 from the company, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Mark Everett Williams, 38, of Bossier City, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of felony theft following an investigation by Sheriff's Detective Yomeka Evans.

Williams is accused of manipulating invoices and over paying a local sub-contractor for work that was either done by another contractor or never completed. In return, the sub-contractor would cash the check and split the money with Williams. The offenses are believed to have occurred over the past two years.
