Police seize drugs, money, vehicles in bust
The Bossier City Police Department’s Narcotics Unit arrested a man on drug charges Friday and recovered several pound of marijuana, thousands of dollars in cash and two vehicles following a two-week investigation.
35-year old Ryan Elliott Scott was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia after agents executed a search warrant Friday night at Scott’s house in the 100 block of Rosemont Place.
Agents also recovered 12 and a half pounds of high grade marijuana known as “kush” along with $25,830 in cash, a 2007 Volkswagen GTI, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and paraphernalia commonly used in the distribution of marijuana.
The bust was the result of an investigation conducted over the past two weeks that involved agents making undercover marijuana deals at Scott’s residence.
