Monday, July 11, 2011 - 2:10pm

Shreveport Police officers are investigating a report that a man exposed himself to a child in the Broadmoor neighborhood.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on July 3, 2011, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home on Greenway Place relative to an indecent exposure call. Upon arrival there, officers contacted an adult female who reported that her eight year old daughter had been approached by a male suspect in a vehicle who was naked from the waist down. According to her mother, the child had set up a lemonade stand there on Greenway when an adult male suspect pulled up in a vehicle and asked for two cups of lemonade. When the little girl approached the vehicle, she observed the man had on no pants or underwear. The suspect took the lemonade and then drove off.

The man is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old with brown eyes, dark brown hair, weighing about 190 to 200 pounds. He has a beard and moustache and was wearing a red short sleeved shirt. The vehicle the suspect was driving is described as a small red rusty old car.

Detectives are investigating this case and are asking for anyone with any information about this suspect to call them at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Neighbors are reminded to always be vigilant and report any kind of suspicious activity to police at our non-emergency number 318-673-BLUE(2583) or, in case of an emergency, 911.
