A teenager who allegedly ran way from her family's home in Missouri last month has been found in Shreveport.
Just after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Shreveport police officers were dispatched to Willis Knighton Medical Center in the 2600 block of Greenwood Road relative to a runaway juvenile. Upon arrival there, patrolmen discovered 13 Amber White there. Detectives were notified and immediately responded. White was taken into protective custody and their investigation is ongoing at this time.
Based on information gathered during their initial inquiry, investigators arrested 25-year old Mim McCoy and charged her with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. McCoy, of the 4100 block of Reilly Lane, was subsequently booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
