A Princeton man was arrested Tuesday for strangling his girlfriend and giving her multiple “hickies” on her chest against her will.
Eliseo Sanchez, 44, told Bossier deputies he was arguing with his live-in girlfriend of three years at their residence in Princeton on Nov. 24. The argument, which began over fighting about heat in the house, got physical and Sanchez admitted to deputies he choked her around her neck with a one-year-old child present in the house. Sanchez then admitted that five days later on Nov. 29, he gave his girlfriend multiple hematomas, or hickies, on her chest against her will. She informed deputies she told him to stop, but he wouldn’t. Sanchez then told deputies he gave her the hickies so people would know that she was his.
The victim had visible marks on her neck and chest and stated that Sanchez had been physically abusing her for the past three years. Sanchez was charged with three counts of domestic abuse battery, including by strangulation and child endangerment, and taken to the Bossier Maximum Correctional Facility for booking; his bond is pending.
