A Bossier City man was hospitalized with a head injury on Wednesday after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in north Caddo Parish.
Just after 6 p.m., the victim, 32-year-old Brandon Wilson, interrupted a theft in progress on his mother’s property in the 5000 block of North Market. The suspects, a white female and black male, fled in a green Isuzu Rodeo, LA tag TAY 263. Wilson attempted to stop the suspects by jumping onto the roof of the vehicle. He remained there for approximately two miles until he was thrown off the SUV in the 1800 block of Pine Hill Road.
Wilson suffered serious injuries and was transported to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department. He later underwent surgery for a head injury.
Sheriff’s detectives have obtained a warrant for the driver of the Rodeo. She has been identified as Kathy Lind, 56, no address available. Bond on the warrant was set at $50,000.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lind or her vehicle is asked to contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division at 681-0700 or 675-2170.
