Law enforcement looking for alleged bank robber
Shreveport Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant charging a local man in connection with a bank robbery in North Shreveport earlier this month.
This afternoon detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging 21 year old Joshua Hall, of the 5900 block of Tincup Way in Shreveport, with one count of armed robbery in connection with the robbery of the Chase Bank in the 100 block of Freestate Boulevard back on March 15, 2011. Detectives developed Hall as a suspect after evidence recovered at the crime scene there linked him to the robbery. Hall’s bond is set at $500,000.
Two male suspects, both armed with handguns, entered the Chase Bank there on Freestate Boulevard just after 10:00 a.m. and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the bandits fled the scene in what was described as a green sedan, possibly a Honda. No one was injured during the robbery. Investigators are still working to identify the other suspect.
Joshua Hall is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall weighing about 180 pounds. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Joshua Hall is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective John Jackson at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Investigators believe Hall should be considered armed and dangerous.
