Investigators search for bank robber

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a southeast Shreveport bank this morning.

Just moments before 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Shreveport police officers were dispatched to the Chase Bank in the 300 block of East 70th Street to a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers there at gunpoint. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators are now asking for your help in identifying and apprehending this bank bandit. He is described as a black male about 5' 11" inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing dark colored clothing, including a dark hoodie, and his face was concealed by a black mask of some sort.
