A Haughton woman was arrested Wednesday morning for physically hurting three others, and then threatened the arresting deputy on the way to jail.
Christy N. McGough, 35, of Haughton, returned home early Wednesday after she had been drinking at a local casino. The investigation found when McGough got home, she started arguing with her boyfriend, her daughter and her daughter’s girlfriend. McGough then hit her boyfriend several times, leaving red marks and scratches on the side of his face and neck. She also pulled out some of her daughter’s hair and slammed her head into the floor. McGough also attacked her daughter’s girlfriend, leaving marks on her arm.
McGough ran out of the house, but Bossier deputies soon took her into custody. While en route to the jail in Plain Dealing, McGough began to threaten the arresting deputy, saying she had connections with someone in the courthouse and that the deputy would be sorry and things would get ugly for him.
When the deputy pulled into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, he discovered that McGough had removed one of her handcuffs completely, as well removed her seatbelt. She was charged with three counts of simple battery, attempt of simple escape and public intimidation. Her bond is pending.
