A Haughton man was arrested early Friday morning after deputies determined he was intoxicated when he crashed his vehicle on Highway 80 near Country Place subdivision.
Todd C. Bozeman, 41, was found standing near his overturned vehicle just after 3 a.m. Friday. Bozeman was driving the vehicle with one passenger when they were somehow involved in a one-vehicle accident. When deputies arrived on the scene, they checked both for injuries, but noticed Bozeman appeared unsteady on his feet and had a strong odor of alcoholic on his breath. Deputies conducted a sobriety test on Bozeman, in which he performed poorly. He also blew a .139% BAC with an Intoxilyzer sample.
Bozeman was charged with DWI 1st and careless operation, then taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond of $1,200.
