Authorities are searching for a robber who knocked off a west Shreveport convenience store over the weekend.
At around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to a robbery at the Circle K in the 300 block of West 70th Street.
When officers arrived on scene, a witness reported a man had entered the store and tried to buy several items. During the transaction, an argument erupted between the man and the clerk, at which time the suspect grabbed the employee, snatched an undisclosed amount of cash from the register out of her hand and fled the scene.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The robber is described as a black male, aboiut six feet tall with a slim build, wearing what appeared to be a blue jacket with white sleeves and a brown baseball cap. There also appeared to be some sort of uniform slung over his left shoulder.
Detectives released pictures taken from the Circle K's surveillance cameras.
