Police are searching for a Caddo Parish man wanted in connection with a stabbing outside of a downtown Shreveport nightclub early last Sunday that left a man fighting for his life.

Shortly after 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, Shreveport patrol officers were sent to a stabbing at the Deja Vu nightclub in the 200 block of Commerce Street. Upon arrival there, officers found 24-year-old Tyler Shambro suffering from several stab wounds to the abdomen. Shambro was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators learned that Shambro had been involved in a fight with several men in a parking lot outside of the Deja Vu when one of the men, 40-year-old Bobby Ray Johnson III, stabbed him. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant charging Johnson, of Oil City, Louisiana, with one count of aggravated second degree battery. His bond is set at $75,000.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Bobby Ray Johnson III should call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
