Detectives collecting clues in Burger King robbery

The Burger King restaurant in the 1700 block of North Market was robbed Thursday night.

Officers responded to the business after employees informed police that a black man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, entered the business with a gun. The gunman wore a covering over his face partially concealing his identity. The robber demanded money from employees moments before running away.

The assailant made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives are combing through evidence recovered at the scene in efforts to identify the robber.

There were no injuries in this incident.
