Circle K robbers surrender themselves to authorities

Shreveport Police have arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery of a Circle K convenience store that took place in the early hours of May 2, 2012.

Around 3:00 A.M. on May 2nd, two, armed, white males entered the Circle K on the 9000 block of Youree Drive. They demanded all of the money in the register from the clerk. The suspects emptied the register while pointing their gun and then ran from the store.

Last night around 6:30, the suspects surrendered themselves to detectives. 18-year-old Andrew Wallace, shown in the picture, was booked into the City Jail on the count of armed robbery. The second suspect, a 14-year-old male, was booked into a detention center on the same count of armed robbery.

The investigation continues to see if any additional charges are warranted.
