Caddo Parish Sheriff's are offering a self defense class for the disabled citizens of the Shreveport-Bossier area.

The classes take place at the officer training center off Highway 1 in south Caddo Parish. 

The 4 week class is taught by Captain Kenny Sanders.

The class teaches those with physical and mental challenges to use chemical agents and basic self-defense.

There is only one initial mandatory class and attendance after is optional.
