Bossier suspect arrested for triple homicide

The Bossier Police Department has made an arrest in connection with last week's triple homicide.

Gerald Cortez Needham has been arrested for the murders at the Bill Norris Appliance Center. Needham is charged with the murders of 77-year old William C. Norris, 58-year old Jesse L. Burks and 66-year old Harold W. Arnett all of Bossier City. The three men were shot on April 12, 2011 inside Norris’ business. Norris and Burks were pronounced dead at the scene. Arnett died of his wounds the following day at LSU Hospital in Shreveport.

Following Needham’s arrest police executed a search warrant at his home in the 1400 block of Cynthia Lane in which a number of items were seized.

Bond is set for 1 million dollar for each count of first degree murder, 3 million dollars in total.
