Bossier City looking for a few good lifeguards

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 11:46am

Bossier City’s Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for lifeguards to staff the city’s three public swimming pools this summer.

Applications are available at the BPAR office in the Public Service Complex, 3223 Old Shed Road. Applicants must take and pass a lifeguard certification course through the American Red Cross at their own expense. Applicants can submit their application to BPAR before obtaining their Red Cross certification and are advised to apply within the next few weeks so that they may be prepared in time for the pools’ scheduled opening on June 1, 2011.

For more information call the BPAR office at (318) 741-8450.
