A "catwoman" was arrested Thursday afternoon following drug deals with undercover agents that began in 2010.

47-year old Carol McKnight, of Haughton, was arrested at her home by Bossier deputies early Thursday on warrant charges.

After allowing deputies to enter her home, they were met with a smell of ammonia and a bunch of ‘meows’. Deputies were staring at more than 50 cats in McKnight’s single-wide trailer. Bossier Parish Animal Control was called to the residence.

McKnight was charged with two counts of distribution of Methamphetamine “ICE”, one count of distribution of alprazolam (Xanax) and one count of distribution of propoxyphene napsylate (Darvocet).

The accused drug dealer was taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking, and her bond is set at $65,000.
