Bosier PD promotes 5 officers

Bossier City Chief of Police Shane McWilliams today announced the promotions of five officers. Mayor Lorenz Walker joined Chief McWilliams in promoting the following officers during a ceremony held this morning at the Bossier City Police Department:

Royce Chapman was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Chapman has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1979 and most recently served as Commander of the Patrol Division.

Jimmy Stewart was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Stewart has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1985 and most recently served as Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Thomas Black was promoted to the rank of captain. Captain Black has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1982 and is assigned the Patrol Division.

Fred Gregory was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Gregory has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1986 and is assigned as Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Buster Henrikson was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Henrikson has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1986 and is assigned to the Patrol Division.
