Shreveport police are investigating a wreck that left a 10-year-old boy fighting for his life.

Officers say a westbound SUV lost control on Lakeshore Drive and rolled over on Monday.

Investigators say that's when boy was thrown out of the truck. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck Otis McFann of Shreveport has been cited for DWI and driving with a suspended license.
