Authorities are seeking the identities and whereabouts of two men who allegedly robbed a Shreveport business last night.
On Thursday November 29, 2012 at approximately 8:26 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Sam's Southern Eatery located in the 3500 block of Jewella Avenue. Upon the arrival of officers, they were advised by witnesses that two masked men entered the business armed with guns. While inside the business, the men allegedly demanded that the clerk hand over money from the cash register. Upon having their demands met, the suspects reportedly fled the business on foot in a westbound direction. There were no injuries during the robbery.
Witnesses described one of the suspects as a black male, standing approximately five feet eleven inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a black colored, heavy winter type jacket with a hood, blue jeans, with a black cloth covering his face. The second suspect was described as a black male, standing approximately six feet to six feet two inches tall with a thin build, wearing a brown colored, heavy winter type jacket with hood, with a red bandana covering his face. Both suspects were armed with handguns. At this hour, investigators are working to identify and apprehend those responsible for this crime.
