Lauren Unger is a morning show anchor and reporter for Fox News Louisiana.

She got her on-air start in Germany, as an anchor on a morning show, speaking -- you guessed it -- German. The show, called Das Ding or "The Thing" was a mix of news, music interviews and culture.

After returning to the states, Lauren graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh. Then she went on to work as a reporter and anchor for WZBN in Trenton, NJ.

Although her upbringing in Pennsylvania may technically make her a 'Yankee,' she's been enjoying Louisiana's southern hospitality since she came down here – especially the crawfish boils and jambalaya.
