Splash Kingdom attempts to break world record

June 18, more that 700 pools and water parks attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest swim lesson. One of the water parks involved was Splash Kingdom in Shreveport.

UPDATE (5:09 P.M.) As of 5:09 p.m., all outages in East Texas have been restored, as well as all in DeSoto and Veron Parishes in Louisiana. However, Sabine Parish has been added to the power outage list.
